One Wish to Have It All
Posted on Mar 23, 2009 under Articles |What would one want if one got just one wish to fulfill? What would you do if you got a chance to fulfill your one single, undying wish? Would you go for the ethereal love, romance or relationships? Or would you simply choose faith as an alternative and pray that the Almighty fulfills all your wishes?
It is hard to tell what we would do, or could do, if we got to fulfill that ‘One’ wish of ours. A number of sites, however, have come up in the web, that either help you in fulfilling your wish, or rather help in fulfilling the wishes of those who possibly cannot achieve them. The latter include people affected by life-threatening illnesses, are paralyzed, struck by poverty or are already in their deathbed.
Not only do such sites portray the vagaries of human life, but they also mirror the drastically different range of thoughts of people, divided by extremes (money, region, faith, relationships and so on). My neighbor Edgar only yesterday found out that his wish to live in a hamlet near the Himalayas was shared by over eight thousand people all over the world, from Africa to Russia! He jokingly had quipped to me, “And I was thinking that I might just get lonely up there!”
No matter what your wish is, these online sites provide you with an outlet to your dreams and you’re ambitions. And once you realize that your wishes are similar to what a lot of other people dream or wish for, fulfilling that impossible wish suddenly seems like a very possible venture again!
